My name is Rebeca.

I was born in a small Asturian town in Northern Spain, with just over 500 inhabitants.

My parents gave me a good education, although they didn´t know (and still don't know) what consulting, MMBs firms, or corporate careers are. My dad was a professor of students with disabilities. My mother founded two classical theatre companies.

In my mid-thirties now, I have 

• Served as an Associate at McKinsey & Co. (Spain)

• Led strategy consulting engagements for Mastercard Advisors (South America)

• Consulted for the United Nations and the Inter-American Development Bank (USA, Switzerland, Rwanda)

• Directed operations for the Chinese tech company DiDi Chuxing (Mexico)

• Became an interviewer for all these companies

• Become a Super Coach at IgotAnOffer.com

These jobs taught me a lot about how the world works and also about myself.

 

But the best part?

It was surrounding myself with hundreds of smart, ambitious professionals across the world, who are today my support and inspiration network.

Not everyone starts their career with strong networks. And these networks are crucial because they provide ideas and career advice, refer you to jobs, and more importantly, inspire you to think big. As we grow up, the socioeconomic gap between those who are connected and the rest becomes larger and larger.
